Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Elytra Space, we strive to ensure you are satisfied with both our digital services and physical networking hardware. Please review the policies below to understand how returns, refunds, and warranties are handled for different types of purchases.

1. Digital Services & Subscriptions

We want you to be confident in the services we provide.

  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: All digital services and subscriptions purchased through Elytra Space are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase date.
  • If you are unsatisfied with the service performance or stability within this period, simply contact our support team to initiate a cancellation and refund.

2. Physical Products: Return Guidelines

For physical hardware, return eligibility and warranty terms vary by product. Please check the specific product page for exact warranty durations (e.g., “Limited Hardware Warranty” vs. “Manufacturer Warranty”).

General 7-Day Return Policy We offer a 7-day paid return window for eligible items. You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, in the exact condition you received them, and include all original packaging (inner and outer boxes) and accessories.
  • Process: To start a return, email us at contact@elytra.space. If approved, we will provide instructions. Do not send items back without prior approval.

Return Fees & Deductions Please note that returns for reasons other than verified hardware defects are subject to fees to cover handling and logistics:

  • Standard Return Fee (₹300): Applied to returns caused by customer preference, incompatibility (e.g., wrong XPON network compatibility, incorrect form factor), or performance issues caused by misconfiguration rather than hardware failure.
  • RTO/Delivery Failure Fee (₹500): If a shipment is returned to us because it could not be delivered due to customer error (e.g., wrong address, unavailable to receive), a ₹500 fee will be deducted from the refund.

4. Damages & Discrepancies

Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery.

  • Reporting Window: You must report damages, defects, or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Required Evidence: To process a claim for a damaged or wrong item, you must provide:
    1. An Unboxing Video clearly showing the unopened package being opened.
    2. Clear photographs of the package from all 6 sides. Without this evidence, we may not be able to offer a free replacement or return.

5. Warranty Support

We categorize warranty coverage into two types. The specific type applicable to your item is listed on its product page.

A. Elytra Space Limited Hardware Warranty

  • Service: These claims are handled directly by us.
  • Coverage: Typically 30 days or 1 year, depending on the item.
  • Exclusions: This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover “bricking” due to firmware updates (even if the firmware was supplied by us) or incompatibilities caused by ISP network changes.
  • Action: Email contact@elytra.space. We will evaluate the issue and arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund.

B. Manufacturer Warranty

  • Service: These claims require approval from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
  • Process: Contact us with the issue details. We will act as a bridge between you and the manufacturer.
  • Timeline: Please note that processing times may be longer as we must wait for the manufacturer to validate the claim before we can release a replacement or refund.

6. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Exchanges: We do not offer direct exchanges. The quickest way to get a different item is to return the original (if eligible) and place a new order separately.
  • Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.
  • Timeline: Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank to reflect the credit. If you have not received a refund after 15 business days of approval, please contact us.
